Received the Japan Society of Naval Architects and Ocean Engineers Award

At the 2022 Annual Spring Meeting of JASNAOE (the Japan Society of Naval Architects and Ocean Engineers) held in Hiroshima, our CEO, Kazuyuki Ouchi received the Society Award in the Invention category. He and Professor Uzawa of Kanazawa Institute of Technology jointly received the award for their invention of the Wind Challenger’s extendable rigid-wing sail.

The Wind Challenger Project is being promoted by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Oshima Shipbuilding, which we will continue to make efforts to promote and further develop in the future.
